Day 1: Arrival and Transfer

Upon arrival at Marrakech airport, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. Take time to rest and prepare for your trekking adventure. Overnight stay in Marrakech.

Day 2: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Ihart

Meet your guide and driver and head south through Tichka Pass (2260m) in the High Atlas Mountains to Ouarzazate where you stop for lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you continue driving to the village of Ihart (1200m) in the Roses Valley. Dinner and night in a traditional Berber house.
Duration: 6 hours drive

Day 3: Ihart – Imgharen – Tigharmatine

Meet your team of muleteers and cooks, and then start your walk through the farming land to join the deserted plateau to the village of Imgharen where you have a panoramic view of the lush valley. Walk down to have a picnic lunch by the stream before you carry on your walk through orchards to your camp in Tigharmatine (1400m).
Duration: 6 hours walk

Day 4: Tigharmatine – Timstiguite – Rbat

This morning, you carry on your walk through orchards through remote Berber villages perched to mountain slopes. Stop in Timstiguite (1600m) for a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, you gradually climb on a mule path to Amougltate Pass (2100m). Then a gentle downhill to your camp near the village of Rbat (1700m). Dinner and overnight in camp.
Duration: 6 hours walk

Day 5: Rbat – Boutaghrar – Tamglouna – Ighrem Aqdim

A walk through villages to Boutaghrar where you join the Mgoun river to Tamglouna (1600m). Stop for a picnic lunch. Continue along the river to your camp in Ighrem Aqdim (1700m). Dinner and overnight in camp.

Day 6: Ighrem Aqdim – Ait Iyoul – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Today a gentle climb over the village to join a deserted plateau. From here you will be quite level to the village of Ait Iyoul in Dades Valley. A picnic break before you meet your driver and drive through Ouarzazate to Marrakech. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Duration: 5 hours walk, 5 hours drive

Day 7: Marrakech

Free day in Marrakech to explore the city, relax, or do some shopping. Overnight stay in Marrakech.

Day 8: Transfer to Airport

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your departure with unforgettable memories of your trekking adventure in the Roses Valley.
