Begin with an exploration of Casablanca, visiting Mohammad V square built in 1916 amid French Colonial buildings. Marvel at the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, completed in 1993 and featuring the world’s second-tallest minaret at 210 meters. Continue to Rabat to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site Oudaya, Hassan Tower (an incomplete mosque minaret from 1195), and Mohammed V’s mausoleum. Visit the American Legation Museum documenting U.S.-Morocco diplomatic relations in an 1821 Moorish-style former consulate. Discover Hercules caves shaped like the African continent, where Hercules allegedly rested during his labors, featuring a 1000ft site above sea level at the entrance of the Strait of Gibraltar. Visit the Kasbah museum in the former sultan’s palace, enjoying the charming Andalusian garden. Arrive in Chefchaouen, famous for its blue-washed buildings, Place Outa el Hammam square, red-walled Kasbah, and octagonal minaret. Free time and overnight stay in Chefchaouen.

Day 4: Chefchaouen – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

Travel to Fes while visiting historically rich landmarks. Explore the excavated ancient city of Volubilis, former capital of the Mauretania kingdom with fascinating Roman ruins. Continue to Meknes, known for its imperial past and the beautiful Bab Mansour gate, famous for its impressive arches and exquisite mosaic tiling. Arrive in Fes for overnight stay.

Day 5: Guided Visit of Fes

Explore Fes with a local guide, visiting historical sites including Madrasa El Bouinania (founded in 1351–56, a high point of Marinid architecture), El Quaraouiyine mosque and University (the oldest existing, continually operating higher educational institution according to UNESCO and Guinness World Records), South Tower, Pottery Village, Nejjarine Square, and the residence of the king. Free time to explore the ancient medina independently. Overnight stay in Fes.

Day 6: Fes – Ifrane – Merzouga

Experience the changing landscape from mountains to desert as you approach the golden dunes of Merzouga. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel in Merzouga.
