Day 1: Marrakech – Boumalne Dades
Our tour driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech. Travel through the High Atlas Mountains, passing authentic towns and Berber villages. Visit Telouat Kasbah and Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a 17th-century fortress classified by UNESCO. Enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant. The drive continues through Skoura city, the Valley of Roses, and Kalaat Megouna before reaching Boumalne Dades. Dinner and overnight stay in Boumalne Dades.
Day 2: Boumalne Dades – Merzouga
Following breakfast, embark on a scenic drive towards the picturesque Todra Gorge in Tinghir. The awe-inspiring views of the gorge and its flowing river make it a sought-after destination for hikers. Continue through the desert towns of Erfoud and Rissani, each offering unique glimpses into local culture. Meet and interact with desert nomads in their traditional tents, drive across the high plateau enjoying panoramic views. Visit the captivating “Ghost Town” of Mifis, an abandoned mining village where ancient eye cosmetics and fossils can be found. Day 4: Merzouga – Ouarzazate
Following breakfast, proceed with the journey taking a scenic route through Alnif, Tazarin Agdez, and the Ait Sawen mountains. Experience the changing landscapes as you travel from the desert to the mountain regions. Overnight stay in Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert” and famous for its film studios.
Day 5: Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Following breakfast, proceed with the journey to Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains. Enjoy the scenic mountain drive with spectacular views and traditional Berber villages.
